COVID-19 impacts community amenities & programs
The past few days have been dynamic for the COVID-19 story, locally and nationally.
After serious deliberation and based on the best available public health, government, and business information at this time, Marley Park’s Board of Directors has instructed the Marley Park Community Life Team to:
- Until further notice, close Marley Park Heritage Club and Heritage Pool House and turn off key fob access effective 5 p.m. this evening, Monday, March 16.For those residents with facility reservations from today through April 30, our team will cancel and fully refund these reservations. Residents can expect email confirmation of refunds from our team by close of business tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17.
Please note: As part of the planned community management transition process from DMB Community Life to First Service Residential, as of yesterday (March 15), DMB Community Life has shut down our facility reservation system. No new reservations will be taken at this time. Facility reservations will be managed by First Service Residential effective April 1.
- Cancel all upcoming events through the end of April 2020.
- Continue community operations as we are able and until directed otherwise—communications, accounting, landscape and amenity management, governance and design review, etc.
The Board did not make these decisions lightly. These decisions were made with the best intentions to protect resident health and our community. As the COVID-19 story continues to evolve, the Board will continue to make real-time decisions with the best information available.
Please continue to use the Community Concern form to alert our team to community needs.
Thank you for your understanding and partnership as we navigate this ever-changing situation.
