Marley Park Elementary School
Adjacent to the 25-acre Heritage Park and within walking distance from most homes, Marley Park Elementary School is a K-8 school that recently earned recognition as a “highly performing” school based on Arizona AIMS tests and other factors.
The school offers Cambridge Checkpoint Preparatory Academy, an advanced academic program for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Sponsored by Cambridge University in England, Checkpoint offers a rigorous and relevant curriculum, culminating with a series of comprehensive examinations at the end of 8th grade that are scored by Cambridge University, and compared to students across the world.
Legacy Traditional School
Legacy Traditional School in Marley Park is an “A” ranked district by the Arizona Department of Education and has been voted the #1 charter school in Arizona by Ranking Arizona. A K-8 charter school with state-of-the-art classrooms for kindergarten, elementary and middle school (jr. high), Legacy’s back-to-basics and accelerated curriculum is encompassed in a learning environment that focuses on character building, patriotism, and the responsibilities of being a good citizen. Legacy also offers after school and summer programs that are an extension of their academics.
Rancho Gabriela Elementary School
Rancho Gabriela Elementary School, a K-8 public school that’s part of the Dysart Unified School District, is proud to be rated an “A” school by the Arizona Department of Education as well as an A+ School of Excellence by the Arizona Education Foundation. Just blocks from Marley Park in the Civic Center Complex is Communiversity @ Surprise. A partnership of several higher education institutions, students continue their education pursuing advance degrees in one location and a variety of formats.
