West Valley Arts Council among non-profits participating in Arizona Gives Day
MPCA is pleased to announce that West Valley Arts Council (WVAC) will be part of the second annual Arizona Gives Day on Wednesday, April 9. You can support this organization and many others in the 24-hour online giving campaign that raised more than $1 million for Arizona non-profit organizations during the inaugural campaign in 2013.
WVAC, which is headquartered at the Heritage Pool House, is an important strategic partner to our community because it enhances the quality and increases the offerings of arts and culture programs right here in our own neighborhood. But more importantly, WVAC has been committed to enriching the entire West Valley since the late 1960s by growing a connected arts and cultural community.
WVAC is the only regional organization that focuses on all disciplines of the arts and provides professional arts and culture offerings to West Valley residents. It is currently working with the City of Surprise to open the West Valley Center for the Arts in June 2014. Participation in Arizona Gives Day is a great way for Marley Park and all West Valley residents to help WVAC flourish and support them in bringing quality art and cultural experiences to our region.
Arizona Gives Day is a collaboration between the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits and the Arizona Grantmakers Forum. Tax-deductible contributions can be made on WVAC’s campaign site on April 9, or scheduled in advance for processing on Arizona Gives Day.
