Meet Rhiannon: Marley Park’s new events and programs manager
The Marley Park Community Life team recently welcomed Rhiannon Miett as the community’s new events and programs manager.
Rhiannon is quite familiar with Marley Park and Surprise. She most recently served as assistant director for the West Valley Arts Council, a non-profit located here in Surprise whose partnership with our community is longstanding. Add to that the fact that she’s lived in and worked for the city of Surprise—she’s connected in ways that will surely help create even stronger bonds with our partner organizations.
Her leadership skills are top notch too. She recently graduated from Leadership West, a program meant to inspire proven leaders in business, non-profits and government to leverage their time, talents and leadership capital to enhance the quality of life in the West Valley and Arizona.
The icing on the cake is Rhiannon’s extensive experience in events and program coordination, volunteer and team management, and philanthropic outreach. While she has big shoes to fill, we’re certain she’s going to rock it as your point person for the Engagement Team, which oversees community events, facility reservations, volunteers, clubs and so much more.
If you need to reach her, you can email Rhiannon or call her at 623-466-8832. And remember, the MPCA office doesn’t have set hours, so it’s always best to make an appointment to ensure someone is available to help you when you stop by.
