Marley Park Celebrates First Oktoberfest
Marley Park Celebrates First Oktoberfest
September 19 marked Marley Barley’s first Oktoberfest celebration, and this was NO standard monthly meeting. Marley Barley takes their fun seriously with the addition of life-size games including Jenga, Ker-plunk, Battleship, Bags, and of course, not to be left out, Beer Pong and also Das Boot!
For a nominal fee, all attendees enjoyed dinner and beer with traditional brats and sauerkraut, burgers, potato salad, corn on the cob, and soft pretzels with melted, gooey cheese among many other goodies. To get in a Munich state of mind, around 75 attendees drank Warsteiner, a traditional German beer, and Sam Adams OctoberFest.
David and Rai’mi Bratsch lead the Marley Barley Beer club with fresh ideas and fun upcoming events. Held the third Saturday of each month (with few exceptions), Marley Barley is one of the many opportunities found within Marley Park that evokes Community. So grab a glass and join us to meet your neighbors, forge new friendships, enjoy some beer and most importantly, have fun – Prost!
