6,500 eggs gone in less than 3 minutes

On Saturday, April 15, 360 Marley Park residents gathered at Founders Park for our community’s annual Easter egg hunt. At exactly 10 a.m. children of all ages started to hunt, and by 10:02:30 a.m. all 6,500 eggs were found. That’s 80 pounds of candy!

The Easter Bunny made a surprise visit, hopping around the park and posing with children in their Easter best for adorable photos that are sure to be treasured.

Thank you to resident Charlotte Confer for organizing the hunt again, keeping this magical traditional going. It also wouldn’t be have been possible without the numerous volunteers who helped make the event possible: the Surprise Senior Center, the 40 volunteer egg stuffers who stuffed all 6,500 eggs only 1 hour, photographers Gary and Ian, Lina Runquist, Tannia Cardosi and all of the students and residents who helped during the event.
